The Learning Centres function as education motivational centres, where trained facilitator team works as resource persons and create an atmosphere to learning, exercise and sharing each other. The targeted slum children are given opportunities to develop their skills to perform better in school studies. Appraisal of daily activity carried and open space given to analyse their ability of learning. The Learning Centres are function as motivational centres, where children are encouraged to attend regularly after school hours.
Non-formal methodologies are carried to make children to understand their lessons. Different strategies are adopted to ensure child friendly approaches. Extracurricular activities are carried at the centres such as painting, drawing, singing, and writing and bring out different innate talents. We ensure that satisfactory amount of learning materials are available at each learning centres.
Regular attendance is monitored and their performance at school level is tracked appropriately. The behaviour part of performance of children at home is considerably improved, which was shared during the parents meeting. Those who are enrolled in the Learning Centres never dropped out of school and thus 100 percent retention is ensured. We foresee good progress in study at school, decent behaviours will develop, peer learning will evolution.
