We continue the training program for women in need. We do organize 3 months skills training in garment making and fashion designing courses for the economically disadvantaged women through teaching classes, providing raw material like threads, needles, clothes, scissors, etc. For every 25 trainees per a batch teaches by the excellent trainer and give the practices at the centre.
Stitching garments is one job that remains till end of the mankind. Further, basic tailoring skills enable women to work from home, they can continue in their traditional role as homemaker and yet earn. Tailoring is something which women can immediately start right from their homes upon completion of their course.
We have well trained coaching instructor engaged for training. Two batches of training is organized for three months in which 25 trainees will be occupied, trained and obtain skilled to do own tailoring unit, employed in reputed garments or tailoring units.
They would develop albums, in which they would demonstrate models during the practice & course. Many of them are started their own business in fashion designing and stitching the different type of blouses, craft works on saris, uniforms stitching.
Similar to Tailoring, we organized ‘Retail Sales and computer Billing Training’ was well planned and prearranged for the benefits of resettled women and young girls to capture relevant employment in local supermarkets and retails stores. Information technology in the form of computers, communications, digital information, and software has become an integral part of our daily lives. Demands for people with knowledge and aptitude for modern technology are high with the highest rewards going to workers with knowledge and skills relevant to the work place. Turning Point have planned for Retail Sales and Computer Billing Training as one important aspect.
